In this course I'll guide you through my process as I build one complete landscape drawing, from the first line to the finishing touches. Along the way you'll learn how to create light, depth and a full range of tone with nothing more than a ballpoint pen.

Start the morning with a walk through of the Hudson River School galleries and sketch from the works on display. Then practice pen drawing techniques to capture landscapes in the collection. Open to adults at all levels of artistic ability.
Drawing paper, pens, museum admission, and lunch included.
Participants may bring their own supplies, such as sketchbooks and pencils.
