Recent Drawings

At the end of last year I began conversations with an art advisory in Richmond, VA about the possibility of one of their clients purchasing a number of my monotypes and drawings. The advisor had seen my work in the group exhibition Please Don’t Wake Me, at Eric Schindler Gallery, and thought I would be good fit for the project she was working on.

After many discussions and seeing different examples of my work in person, the clients decided to purchase nine existing ghost print drawings from my inventory, and wanted five more as a commission to complete the series. They chose their preferred color of ink, a dark blue black, and the direction of the format, vertical landscapes. I looked through my pile of ghost prints for any/all suitable images that would go nicely with their selection. The images below are the final drawings completed last month. I’m looking forward to receiving photos of the final installation once all the pieces have been framed and hung. I’ll make sure to share those soon as they are available.
